Manchester United are expected to have a huge transfer window, with Ruben Amorim looking to offload a number of stars in the summer to make way for new signings.

Following United's worst-ever Premier League season, Amorim is set to make a host of changes to the squad.

Next season will be United's first without European football since 2014/15, which was the season following the disastrous campaign under David Moyes. As a result, it is expected that the squad size will be trimmed, with United potentially playing just 40 games in a season, if they fail to have successful cup runs.

Victor Lindelof, Jonny Evans and Christian Eriksen have all already played their final competitive games for the club, with them set to leave once their contracts expire.

Their departures are set to be followed by many more this summer, so let's take a look at who could also be offloaded (market values according to transfermarkt):

Marcus Rashford (€50 million)

One of the standout players that will most likely be moved on is Marcus Rashford.

The Englishman had a relatively successful loan spell in the second-half of this season, becoming a great attacking option for Aston Villa. Over the 17 games he played for Villa, he scored four goals and provided six assists.

Rashford is clearly not in Amorim's plans, and his time at United looks like it is finally coming to an end after playing over 400 games for the club.

His market value currently stands at €50 million, yet with him clearly set on leaving, United could be willing to accept an offer in the €40 million-mark. Barcelona are reportedly still interested in him, but his huge wage demands remain a stumbling block for interested clubs.

Jadon Sancho (€30 million)

Jadon Sancho is another player that is certain to move on, with him having a very troubled time at United.

The 25-year-old arrived at United with plenty of potential, yet disciplinary issues and problems off the pitch have completely hindered his United career, with the Englishman having issues with Erik ten Hag, and looks to be out of Amorim's future plans.

His loan spell at Chelsea has been fairly mixed, and it remains unclear whether the London-based club will be execising their buy option. Chelsea look like they will want to pay a fee to send him back to United, which could reignite an issue that United though they had solved last summer.

Enzo Maresca loos like he will make a decision on each Chelsea player following the UEFA Conference League Final on Wednesday, and so the jury's still out on Sancho.

Antony (€20 million)

The third player on our list is another out-of-favour winger that does not fit Amorim's system.

Antony has had a stunning turnaround in Spain, having endured a horrific time at United that saw him ridiculed and heavily criticised, especially due to the significant transfer fee surrounding his move to the club.

He has revived his career at Real Betis, scoring a remarkable nine goals and providing five assists in 25 games since joining in January. At United, he seemed lost and unsure what his role in the team is.

The loan spell has led to his price tag rising, and while his market value is still at €20 million, United could demand a fee in the region of €35-45 million, as they look to recoup some of the funds from the record-breaking €95 million deal in 2022.

Luke Shaw (€16 million)

This one seems like it has been a long-time coming, as Luke Shaw has had major injury issues during his time at the club.

The English defender has had another injury-ridden campaign, and he has failed to lock down a regular starting spot ever since he signed a new deal when he was coming off the back of an impressive 2022/23 season.

Shaw's contract is up in 2027, and if United realistically want to get anything from his sale, then they need to offload him as soon as possible, with his value constantly on a downwards spiral. There was a time when Shaw was one of, if not the best, left-backs in the Premier League, yet there are questions over how suited he is to Amorim's wing-back formation, and if he has the defensive awareness to fit in a three-man defence.

Aside from Evans, Shaw is currently United's longest-serving player, having been at the club for a staggering 11 years. His time looks like it is finally up, and with him being on relatively high wages, United simply need to sell him to alleviate some of the pressure off their wage bill.

Alejandro Garnacho (€45 million)

One of the players that is clearly unhappy with his role at the club is Alejandro Garnacho.

The Argentine has played loads of minutes ever since making his first-team debut, and has become one of the most reliable players in the squad in terms of availability, barely missing any matches.

Expectedly, he was frustrated when he was granted just 20 minutes of action in the UEFA Europa League Final, voicing his disappointment when he was asked about Amorim's decision. Some United fans agreed with him, yet many others were left annoyed by him undermining the manager, not for the first time this season.

Garnacho also had issues with Amorim ahead of the Manchester Derby in December, when him and Rashford were dropped for one of the biggest games of their season.

While Garnacho has massive amounts of potential and at the young age of 20 he is still learning his trade, his attitude, social media antics, and decision-making in the final third have all raised questions. Financially, offloading him would make plenty of sense, since he is an academy graduate and his sale would represent pure profit, working wonders in PSR terms.

Both Napoli and Chelsea expressed interest in him in January, and they may be in for him again this summer.

Andre Onana (€32 million)

Another signing that just has not worked out at all.

Andre Onana's time at United has been filled with some highs, and many, many lows. From making stunning double saves and that penalty save against FC Copenhagen, to glaring mistakes against Galatasaray and Lyon.

The Cameroonian goalkeeper arrived at the club with his stock very high following an impressive UEFA Champions League campaign with Inter, yet his market value has been dropping ever since he made the move to Manchester.

Amorim does not seem to fully fancy him starting in goal next season, and United have repeatedly been linked with potential goalkeeper replacements such as Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, James Trafford, and many more.

Onana has attracted interest from Saudi Arabia, and it remains to be seen whether he feels he still has another season of European football in him.

Casemiro (€12 million)

Casemiro is a player who managed to completely turn his season around under Amorim.

He started the season visibly out of shape, and when Amorim arrived, the Brazilian was massively out of favour, not even getting a game for the Portuguese manager.

However, he put in the graft and he regained Amorim's faith, being crucial for United in their Europa League run to the Final, coming up with some vital goals and producing a formidable midfield partnership with Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte.

Despite that, he is now 33, and is one of United's highest earners. Since his contract is up in 2026, if United want any sort of transfer fee for him, they need to get rid of him as soon as possible. With United not having European football next season, he could potentially push for a move away.

A move to Saudi Arabia has constantly been talked about, and if it is going to happen, it looks like it will be soon, with the Brazilian reaching the twilight years of his remarkable career.

Rasmus Hojlund (€45 million)

The right signing at the wrong time.

Rasmus Hojlund has had a very frustrating two years at United. Having produced a mixed, yet promising, first season, where he went on a barren run in the league, but then scored a series of goals in the space of a few games, he then followed it up with a season where he scored just 10 goals in 51 games in all competitions.

The Dane has struggled to hit his stride this season, looking vastly out of his depth as United's first-choice striker. There was unnecessary pressure placed on him to be the answer to United's goalscoring issues, without anybody at the club present to take some of the goalscoring burden off him.

He has cut a frustrated figure, flinging his arms in the air whenever a player does not pass to him, which happens quite often, and whenever the ball is played into him, he finds it difficult to hold the ball up.

His €77.8 million transfer fee from Atalanta immediately raised eyebrows, and United would now be very lucky to get anything close to half of that. There is significant interest from Italy, yet a move away is also a question of whether Amorim would want to offload another member of his frontline, whatever his output this season.

Altay Bayindir (€10 million)

Altay Bayindir is clearly the second-choice goalkeeper at United, but whenever he has been called upon, he has failed to impress.

Aside from his magical game at the Emirates in the FA Cup, the Turkish goalkeeper has had a dismal season at Old Trafford. He made high-profile errors against Tottenham, Newcastle United and also got very lucky when he fumbled the ball against Aston Villa.

A move away in search of regular first-team action is not out of the question, but it is highly doubtful that United would get a significant fee in for him.

Bruno Fernandes (€55 million)

Look, none of us want Bruno Fernandes to leave the club, as we all know how important he is to Amorim and that without him we would firmly be in with a chance of getting relegated.

He is the only player in our team that looks world-class and has repeatedly been the difference between us losing games and winning them.

However, he has said that should the club need to sell him to raise money, he would be open to moving.

There has been plenty of interest in the Manchester United captain from Saudi Arabia, with staggering figures in his contract being reported. Amorim and United have constantly said that he is not for sale, but given the club's precarious financial position, should an offer of €100 million arrive this summer, the Board would undoubtedly consider it.

There are many other players who need to be sold before him, yet offloading Fernandes could also potentially mean a significant boost to our transfer budget. The question is, can we trust United's decision-makers to replace Bruno with the right players to take us forward?

Not quite sure.

What do you think? Are there any names that should be added to this list?
