Player Ratings: Leeds United 1-1 Manchester United

Manchester United failed to win yet again after Bryan Mbeumo's goal was cancelled out by Dominic Calvert-Lewin in a gritty encounter against Leeds United at Elland Road on Sunday.
Michael Carrick opted to pack the midfield, just as he did against Atletico Madrid, with Youri Tielemans, Bruno Fernandes, Carlos Baleba and Andrey Santos all starting.
United started quite well, battling with Leeds and controlling the pace of the play. Mbeumo put United in front after 35 minutes after Tielemans and Amad linked up well before finding the Cameroonian forward, who stroked the ball home. This came just a few minutes after Mbeumo had a header go wide of the goal.
However, Calvert-Lewin equalised for Leeds right after the break, capitalising from an overload from a corner, tucking it away to make it 1-1.
Both sides had some half-chances later in the game, but neither team could really break the other down, and as a result, United's winless run was extended to six, earning their fourth draw of the campaign.
Here are our player ratings after another disappointing day:
Senne Lammens 7
Looked solid throughout the match, making a very good save in the first half from a Nico Elvedi header. He opted to go long more than once, possibly not trusting the defence enough. Collected the ball well from several crosses, and could not do much with the Leeds goal.
Leny Yoro 7
Once again did very well for United, being up for the challenge of having to deal with Noah Okafor. Yoro was strong going into challenges, and did very well with the aerial threat that Leeds posed. A real shame that he is suspended for midweek.
Harry Maguire 6
Seemed to handle Calvert-Lewin well for large parts of the game, up until the goal, when the forward strayed away and Maguire fell easily in the box. Suits playing in a back three much more.
Lisandro Martinez 6
There were plenty of eyes on Martinez this week - including those of Jason Wilcox today - with the Argentine producing a solid display at Elland Road. However, he seemed to be carrying a knock in the first half, and was replaced at half-time.
Amad 6
The player United constantly looked to in order to create. Combined very well with Tielemans for Mbeumo's goal, and kept his width very often during the game. There were times when he should have upped the pace a bit more, but with him still finding his rhythm, it was another solid performance from the Ivorian.
Andrey Santos 7
An energetic performance on and off the ball from Santos. The Brazilian worked hard to win the ball back and kept it moving with a series of simple passes. Did very well with Baleba.
Carlos Baleba 6
Still getting used to playing in United's midfield, but his strong, energetic and dominant presence was much-needed at the heart of United's team. Should have done better to track Calvert-Lewin for the equaliser.
Diogo Dalot 7
One of United's best players on the day. Read the game very well, winning the ball countless times, whether through interceptions, tackles, or 50-50s. Got forward whenever he could, and while his end-product can be frustrating, he never stopped running.
Bruno Fernandes 4
Poor yet again from the United captain. Got booked early in the game and was constantly voicing his frustration towards the referee. Sloppy in his passing and could not be productive in possession.
Bryan Mbeumo 6
Should have done better with a free header in the half-hour mark, but just moments later got his finish spot on with a deft touch to slot it past James Trafford. Isolated for large parts of the game, and visibly frustrated that others were not helping him with the press.
Substitutes
Noussair Mazraoui 5
Needlessly conceded the corner through which Leeds score from. Could not handle Calvert-Lewin's physicality.
Mason Mount 5
Came on for Baleba and while he grafted, he did not offer the attacking quality United needed.
Matheus Cunha 6
A very late sub, and probably should have been brought on much earlier.
Head Coach - Michael Carrick 5
Opted to retain the same shape that United used away in Madrid in midweek, and his side seemed more controlled in and out of possession, they struggled to create chances. His in-game management continues to come under increased scrutiny, with substitutions being made all too late, particularly attacking ones. Such decisions come under the spotlight more when United are throwing away leads all the time.
